The Courtyard of Cultivated Filiality sits in the North facing the South, uplifted by its palatial architecture opening out simulating the royal family of the emperors. Its exterior is based on the forests and glades of Suzhou and Hangzhou, preserving its sense of classic elegance while parading its magnificence. The interior is arranged to cast an aura of zen and inner peace, with a white serene ambience. Glass lotus flower adorn the Courtyard, giving off red and white lights, its subtle fragrance and purity fills one with the pure solemnity and untainted holiness of Nirvana.
The Guan Yin Boddhisatva sits in the center of the Courtyard, attending to the prayers and wishes of thousands of people, being the vessel carrying the suffering across the oceans, to free all from despair and to live in happiness.
Our descendants and their children will live their lives filled with virtue, grace and gratefulness, giving tribute to their ancestors in the Courtyard and sincerely repaying their kindness. Their deeds and merits will shine through the ages, reflecting what in the past has led to their destiny, and their achievements known for thousands of years.
