Block D’s name is inspired by the Confucianism value of “filial piety,” a value that is deeply instilled into Chinese culture and way of life. As the Chinese saying goes, “Of all virtues, filial piety is the most important”. In daily life, filial piety is often expressed through ancestor worship.

Special Features:

Confucianism encourages pragmatism, and avoidance of extravagance and waste. As such, a minimalist style is seen in the designs of the building and niche door panel, and is most suitable for those who prefer simplicity and intellectualism in life, as well as those who do not have any religious beliefs.
