Si Xiao Garden
Zone B

The Si Xiao Garden can be said to be from the first collection of poetry in ancient China, “The Book of Songs – Greater Odes of the Kingdom – Xiawu”, “Always striving to accord with the will of Heaven”. To put it simply, people should always pay attention to filial piety and respect for the elderly as filial piety is the criterion of life. As the saying goes, filial piety comes first, and the establishment of the Si Xiao Garden is to advocate the observance of filial piety to the elders. Loved ones may have passed, but their memories are eternalised here.

Facing each other, the Si Xiao Garden and the towering four-sided Guanyin with a lake view are shrouded in the light of the Merciful Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of the Great Compassion. The ancestors buried here not only serve as a reminder to their future generations by virtue of the Si Xiao Garden, they are also able to attain enlightenment early and peacefully under the guidance of Guanyin.
