2022 Winter Solstice Warmth Charity Event

Papan Memorial Berhad extended the traditional Chinese virtue of filial piety from home to the disadvantaged groups in society. Taking advantage of the arrival of the winter solstice at the end of the year, it went to the Gopeng Nursing Home in Perak to offer filial piety and care. 

Continuing last year’s “PMB Winter Solstice Showing Warmth” event organized by Sin Chew Daily Perak, this year’s event has come to the second year of “Let’s do good together”. We have call on about 30 staffs and agents to join hands in sending warmth and engage in charity to the Gopeng Nursing Home, worked together to clean the nursing home, repair windows, toilets, cut hair, and put-up New Year decorations. 

We also entertained the elderly to taste the must-have red bean paste glutinous rice balls during the winter solstice. As for the delicious lunch It was enthusiastically sponsored by a restaurant in Ipoh, allowing everyone to celebrate the winter solstice early.
